Romany Abraham started his career in the life insurance industry in 1983.  As an agent he qualified for the prestigious National Sales Achievement Awards and the National Quality Award.  His success as an agent led him into a career within management that he began in 1987.

 

As a Partner, Romany has continued his commitment to his personal growth, completing the Agency Management Training Course (AMTC) in 1989 and receiving his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) in 1992.  In 1991 as well as 1996 through 2001, he qualified for the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA).  He also continues his education by completing the CLU, CHFC courses and completing his stockbroker’s license (Series 7) and the Principal License (Series 24).

 

Throughout his career, he has consistently been a company leader in the recruitment and development of new agents and has been honored as such.  In 1993 Mr. Abraham joined the ranks as a Sales Manager in the Riverside General Office of New York Life Insurance Company.  During his tenure in Riverside, he has helped the office become one of the fastest growing agencies within New York Life.  At the same time, he has developed into one of the leading Managers finishing in the top 10 within the company in 1998.  He became a Partner in April 1998 and was promoted to Managing Partner of The Greater Philadelphia General Office in February 2002.

 

One of Mr. Abraham’s greatest achievements is his agents.  Many of them have qualified for New York Life Insurance’s highest council levels and the Million-Dollar Round Table.

 

Mr. Abraham served as President of the Riverside County National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in 1994/1995 and President of the Inland Empire General Agents and Managers Association (IEGAMA) in 1995/1996.  In addition to his other responsibilities, Mr. Abraham serves as the GAMA Regional Association Development Committee Chairperson and as a member of the National Marketing Committee.

 

His interests include traveling, cooking, playing chess, and relaxing within the pages of a good book.  He also enjoys precious moments with close friends and family.

 

He currently resides in the city of Buckingham, Pennselvania with his lovely wife Mona and their son Andrew.
